Michelle Is Annoyed With Lofty, Wicksy And Ian
Why was Angie angry that Den was drunk when she was drunk all the time? A bit hypocritical!
Reminds me of Jim and Norma in the Royle Family
Grant was being out of character by wanting a rapist to stay in the flats. I think Grant would actually had preferred Sharon to lose the pub in order to not let a rapist in the square. Even though Grant was dodgy as they come even he had principles.
To be fair, Den only lightly slapped the pair of them. Not acceptable but wasn’t the worst of slaps. Sharon was more of a clip than a full blown slap.
Everyone felt sorry for Michelle but not for lofty. The poor guy was jilted and humiliated 😢
The only contraception is the word no? Yeah....coz saying no always works.
I remember when tom watt was on talksport as a football pundit and taking calls from fans.
SHUT UP 😂😂😂
Den smirking in the background. 😂😂 Legend.
Jesus, what a poisonous old woman 😮
When a murder rape or medical emergency only ever happened every seven years instead of every seven weeks 😂
Back when the characters lives didn’t revolve around the intensive care unit of walford general 😂
Why did David say to Pauline years later that Pete never paid child maintenance when he said he did in this clip? Is it a retcon or did Pat feed him lies?
Why did Pat say it was Pete’s brother that was Simon’s Dad when it was really Brian?

Kathy calling her mum
I never thought depression makes you angry?!
Then you don't know much about depression do you?
In later years, it's really shown how much of a trainwreck Michelle was and the type of woman who treats good guys badly and falls for the wrong ones. She keeps Den's child, someone who was old enough to be her Dad, but aborts Lofty's, oh yeah, and keeps Grant's chid. 🙄
RIP Leslie Grantham and Douglas Fielding.
Mary was a bettie
I was 16 then, same age as them young ones
Does anyone have the episode where Arthur is in the nuthouse rocking back and forth? 😂😂😂 Pauline visits him and brings him sweets 😂😂😂
Never mind Arthur…. let’s have you committed to a looney bin and there they can give you some nice sessions of ECT.. you’ll be right as rain in no time 😂😂😂😂
Best of British
Wish they didn't turn him into such a wimp
No phones no internet and good old fashioned life how it was is how it shud stil be but this is 2024 and this way of life is unfortunately no more 😐
A true matriarch of the family! With a mum/gran like Lou beale u always had foundation and solidarity something that shud be the very building blocks of a solid secure family unit and unfortunatly for myself at least I will NEVER know bcoz I was ostracized from both the birth and the adoptive famiLIES 😐
Yes we remembered 🙌 ❤,
I wish Angie and Sharon were there to discover that Den is the father of Michelle’s baby
2:30
Arthur stealing the Christmas club money to pay for Lofty and Michelle’s wedding. This storyline went to for a year, as it culminated with Arthur being sent to prison for 28 days in 1987.
Also Kate Brooks is leaving Emmerdale to work on Eastenders. It's good in a way so her wife Michelle Hardwick (Vanessa) doesn't get accused of special treatment.
Its good to know lofty has become a very successful business man
Only women can talk about rape honestly.
Pat was trying to look out for Pete but Pete just blindly defended Cathy.
Pete deciding to slap a 'hyserical' woman. They aren't even married. No wonder Pat left.
The acting was so bad 😂
Watching this after seeing the recent repeats on Drama channel with Den impregnating his daughter in law (Zoe). At least Den looked fairly ok health wise here, but he was just as creepy and gross here. “Little cracker” 🤢🤮 But how he ever got Zoe into bed with him in 2005 when he looked like he was months away from death! I think he got more desperate but his depravity remained roughly the same over time!
and kathy never gets older
Curious to think that Lou was opposed to her children divorcing or committing adultery, but had no apparent misgivings about abortion, despite the grisly details.
I never felt she had no misgivings about that, I think she was saying it to push Michelle into the emotional state where she could get to the truth. I used to watch Eastenders back then and had to have a hug from my mum after this scene as it was so emotionally powerful. I wept when Susan Tully did.
Not sure how Susan Tully ever left Eastenders.
It's funny how Dot wanted a nice posh accent to ring the undertakers.
You can still hear the market going on even though Lou has gone.
Arthur struggled to cope with emotion. Stiff upper lip. Pauline really needed a cuddle.
Imagine if Michelle was worried about Vicky and Lofty called her a party pooper.
Whoever believes the codswallop that poms are colonialist racists just need to watch this. All lies. They have as much right to the ethnic culture and pearl kings and queens as anyone else.
Look at Michelle geeting in there haha
what was den in prison for?
Aired 11th February 1988
Simon this best. In. Eastender. He this Michelle cousins. Her. Mum and father called kenny. Afair
